UCLA Campus

If you live on or near the UCLA campus or close to the 602 Route and you would like to join us for worship, we suggest you catch the Metro Line 602 Bus.  The following link describes the route and times.  Depending on the time of day, the ride time from UCLA (Le Conte & Gayley) to Palisades Lutheran Church is about half an hour. You will exit the bus at Sunset Bl and Temescal Cyn Rd, about 0.3 mile to the church. Also, when you exit the bus you should see Temescal Gateway Park to the north and Palisades Charter High School to the south.  If you have mobility issues:  Option 1. You can stay on the 602 Bus.  The bus will turn down Temscal Cyn Rd and continue a loop around by turning right onto Pacific Coast Highway and another right back onto Sunset Bl heading back to UCLA.  The bus will pass by Palisades Lutheran Church.  Exit bus at Sunset Bl and El Medio.  Option 2.  After you get off 602 Bus at Sunset Bl and Temescal Cyn Rd, catch a Santa Monica BBB9 Bus to cover the last 0.3 mile.  Exit bus at Sunset Bl and El Medio.  Please check BBB9 schedule relative to 602 bus to see if this is a good option.

Santa Monica and Santa Monica College:

If you live in or near Santa Monica, there is a Big Blue Bus Route 9 or BBB9 that goes to Pacific Palisades.  The ride time from downtown Santa Monica to Palisades Lutheran Church is about half an hour.  Exit bus at Sunset Bl and El Medio.  For the schedule, try google maps or download The Little Blue Book per the following link.

Malibu and Pepperdine University

Public transportation involves the 534 Bus in combination with walking/biking[added] or connecting with the 602 or the BBB9 described above. Use google maps for an estimate of travel time.
